A leading cornea, cataract and refractive surgeon in the Sydney and Hunter Region. Dr Peter Kim consults in both the private and public sector, and teaches registrars and fellows at the Sydney Eye Hospital.
Dr Peter Kim graduated from the University of New South Wales and completed his ophthalmology training at the Sydney Eye Hospital (SEH).
He undertook subspecialty training in Corneal and Cataract Surgery at the SEH; Paediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus in Vancouver, Canada; and Cornea, Cataract and Refractive Surgery in Toronto, Canada.
He is a staff specialist at the Sydney Eye Hospital where he teaches Cornea and Cataract Surgery to Registrars and Fellows.
Dr Kim has published over 40 scientific articles in international medical journals as well as two book chapters in his areas of expertise. He has presented at numerous Australian and international scientific meetings.
His interests include cataract and refractive surgery, corneal transplantation, keratoconus management (collagen cross-linking, Intacs/Kerarings) and strabismus surgery.
